Kristin Chenoweth Called Out Anti-Gay Moms Accusing “Wicked” Of Pushing An “LGBTQ Agenda”

The group wrote online, “Alerting All Parents! One Million Moms needs your help to make sure as many people as possible are aware of Universal Pictures pushing the LGBTQ agenda on families, particularly children, in the musical Wicked.”

“Four of the film’s main characters are openly queer or gay in real life, or at the minimum, these actors have spoken about their queer experiences,” they continued, referring to the fact that Wicked stars Jonathan, Cynthia, Bowen Yang, and Marissa Bode are openly gay.

“Universal has now decided to be politically correct instead of providing family-friendly programming. But Universal should stick to family-friendly entertainment, particularly in children’s films, rather than pushing an agenda,” the group added.
